CLOSE LOOK: New Nike Air Trainer 1 “Grey” (DM0521-001) Official Images Surfaced


2022 will be the 35th Anniversary celebration for Air Max 1 after it was firstly introduced by Tinker Hatfield in 1987. Another Air 1 from Nike is also set for release alongside the Air Max 1 is the Air Trainer 1.  

According to the latest images, this unreleased Air Trainer 1 is based on the combination of white and grey alongside off-white for the midsole. It features the signature buckles and tribal patterns. The Air Trainer 1 Chlorophyll that was released in 2020 has additional black on its buckle, which is slightly different from this version. 

 

The Air Trainer 1 was popularized tennis legend John McEnroe back in 1987. According to John, Nike sent the prototype of Air Trainer 1 to him in 1986 and did not expect him to wear it during the competition. However, the sneaker turned out to be a hit and remains as one of the staples among the sneaker collector. 

 

The Air Trainer 1 in Photon Dust/Light Smoke Grey/Smoke Grey colorway is expected to be released in the State later this year at the retail price of USD125 (~RM523). Unfortunately, there is no news yet on the release in the Malaysian market. 

 

Is Nike Air Trainer 1 good for investment? 

 

A quick check on the reseller websites revealed that Air Trainer 1 Chlorophyll that was released in 2020 has an average resell pricing of USD280 (~RM1173).

CLOSE LOOK: Drake’s NOCTA X Nike Air Force 1 Low “Certified Lover Boy”

It looks like Drake’s NOCTA has another crossover product with Nike that is coming up – the Air Force 1 Low. This could be the perfect pair for a couple.   This pair of Nike Air Force 1 Low shoes arrives in all white leather design. CLOSE LOOK: Nike Blazer Mid '77 "Bleached Denim" Official Images

If you are looking for a pair of shoes to match with your denim clothing, then this upcoming Blazer Mid ’77 could be the one that suits you.  According to the official images, the new Nike Blazer Mid '77 dubbed "Bleached Denim". Majority of the shoes – from toe to the heel are having this treated denim material, while the Swoosh logo is in white canvas. There is exposed sponge interior design on the tongues and the vulc sole is in classic cream.
